Kaylee's trip to Hawaii...

When Kaylee left on her trip she was very nervous to fly alone, but she said that once she got on the plane and started going that it wasn't so bad. There were other kids sitting next to her and that made it fun for her. Here is her self portrait on the plane. This is her view seeing her dad as she comes off the plane.

From leaving the air port they went and checked into their hotel room and then hit the beach and did a bit of shopping. Then they went to Paradise Cove to attend a Luau. Kaylee actually went and joined the dancing group and was able to go up on stage with them. She was also able to make her own head band. She said it was hard to weave the grass together, but she spent a lot of time making sure it was perfect.

The next day they got up and hit the beach. Kaylee said the water was so fun and warm. She made a big sand castle.

They worked up quite and appetite so Nick took her to get a burger that turned out to be almost as big as her head. :)

Then they met up with a couple guys from Nick's ship to go on a hike. They both said this hike was AWESOME! Nick said it was so green and was just like being in a jungle.

There were tons of big roots, branches, and trees, that Nick used as his own personal jungle gym.

They came across a water fall on their journey.

Kaylee could not get over the size of the leaves there. She started a little collection.

Later that night they had to headed over to the ship to stay the night there before it pulled out the next morning.
