Here we are outside of the ship waiting for our excursion to start.
Then it was time to get our helmets and listen to the safety briefing before being matched up with our horses.
My horse seemed really young and the horse in front of me would bite my horse really hard on the side of her face every time she tried to pass, so I tried to keep my distance from that horse.
The trail was this dirt trail that would get really narrow in places. It was more like horsey off roding than a nice quiet trail. (which was fun/sometimes scary) There were a lot of steep up and down hills you would have to go on. You'd be walking along and all of a sudden it would drop down, or your horse would have to climb over a boulder to get to the top of the trail. It was safe though and fun to be riding in a place like that.
Nick's horse was so skinny and little that it was almost the same size as Nick. If he would have had his legs hanging down straight he probably could have almost touched the ground. :)
We road for about 30 minutes before we stopped for a break. We walked over this rickety old bridge (it was actually just two boards and some rope) to get over to this little restaurant area.
There was this beautiful swimming hole with a waterfall that you could go play in to cool off.

Then Nick decided to climb up the side of the waterfall and slide back down. Later one of the guys in our group climbed up to this spot and purposed to his girlfriend. His hands were shaking as he pulled the ring out of his pocket, she said "yes" and we all cheered for them. It was fun to watch.
There was a photographer on the excursion with us and we never knew when he was taking pictures so it was funny to see what pictures he got when we received our disc in the mail.
After swimming for a bit we decided to go rest while we dried off before we had to get back on the horses

From there we got back on our speed boat and it took us to another private beach where some of the local people had prepared an amazing lunch for us. This place was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. There was nobody there other than our little group and about two or three people cooking.
They had this little picnic area set up with picnic tables and hammocks. This is where Nick and I spent most of our time relaxing.
