Courtney lost her first tooth last night. It has been loose for almost two weeks but she wouldn't let anyone touch it. She is my little drama queen. Since the day she realized it was loose she said she could no longer eat because it hurt too bad. Then when it came out last night she was just so calm and relaxed about the whole thing. She just walked out into the living room and said, "mom my tooth just fell out." No tears or anything. The whole time I was cleaning up the blood in her mouth she just telling me how awesome it was. The big plus to this whole thing was how much of a hurry she was to get in bed because she couldn't wait for the tooth fairy to come. Her excitement continued this morning when she discovered 4 quarters under her pillow in place of her tooth. Now she can't wait to lose more teeth so she can get more money.

Wow, the tooth fairy is keeping up with the rate of inflation. I used to get 50 cents...
