Courtney's 8!!!

I can't believe my little Courtney is already 8 years old. She is getting so big. She is the sweetest little girl with such a loving heart. She has always been the cuddly one in the family. We just love her so much and are so happy to have her as part of our family. Usually on birthdays we wait until after dinner to do presents but this year Courtney asked if she could please open her presents in the morning instead, so that is what we did. Then for dinner she chose to go to John's Incredible Pizza Co. On our way to dinner she got a very special birthday call from her dad. Her face immediately lit up when she heard his voice. He only had 13 minutes to talk, but it was enough to make her so happy. When she hung up the phone I heard her and Kaylee talking in the back seat and Kaylee said, "Getting to talk to dad is the best birthday present ever!" So true!

When Courtney opened this stuffed animal from her grandparents Brooklyn said, "Awesome, now you have your very own beaver!" It was so funny the way she said it as though this had been a dream of theirs. :)
