Relapse...

For the past several weeks this has been a big part of our lives...

A few weeks ago Courtney started feeling sick while she was spending the night at a friends house so I took her to the doctor to find out that she had a severe case of strep throat which turned into scarlet fever. We went thru the round of antibiotics the doctor gave her and she seemed to feel better. Over the weekend (a couple days after she stopped the medicine) she started running fevers again and not feeling well. I was worried she was having a relapse of the strep throat so I took her back to the doctor on Monday and she told me that she probably just caught a virus on top of everything else she had. Yesterday the doctor called me to tell me that they got the results back of Courtney's strep test back and she does in fact have strep throat again. (for the second time in less than four weeks) So they put her on a stronger antibiotic this time that will hopefully get it taken care of. My poor Courtney, she always seems to catch everything that is going around and her poor little body has to work so hard to fight it off.
