Does Anyone Have Earplugs I Can Borrow?...

So our neighbors got in trouble from the city because part of their sidewalk was raising up and it could be a hazard so they told them they needed to get it fixed. They decided that since they were already going to have the cement people out for that they would go ahead and have them fix their driveway too and fill it in up to our property line. But by doing this they had to dig up the bushes that separate the two houses and when they rip the roots out that will rip up part of our sidewalk along the side of the house. So since he is already out here he is going to fix part of our driveway and sidewalk too. It ended up being a good thing for us. They old owners tried to fix it once before and they made it look like crap. It looks like about six different pieces of cement stacked together. So at least now it will look much better. One of these days we are hoping to be able to do more cement work out there so it all looks really nice, but for now we are just sticking with what really needs to be done. But in the mean time it is very noisy over here. Brooklyn is really not impressed by all this noise. She keeps crawling to the front door and just sits there and cries until I go get her. Its our little game she has been playing for the past hour. Hopefully she will still be able to take a nap. We will see....
