Easter...

The day before Easter Nick and the girls decided it was time to color Easter eggs (I was the photographer as usual). As they get older they seem to take much more care and time in making sure the egg is just right, as opposed to when they were little and they were perfectly fine with dropping the egg into a color and moving on to the next egg. Now they do multi colored eggs, stickers, and the whole nine yards. It is fun watching them get so creative. Nick seems to get into it just as much as they do. :)

Brooklyn on the other hand could really care less about the whole coloring eggs thing. She seemed to think it was a big waste of her time to drop her egg in a bowl of colored water when she could just peal the egg and eat it. (That's my girl, always thinking about her next meal :) )

The next morning the girls were excited to see that the Easter bunny had come and hid eggs around the yard for them.

Brooklyn again didn't see what the big deal was until she discovered there was chocolate inside and then it was game on for her... she wanted to make sure she didn't miss out on anything so she would just shove a piece of chocolate in her mouth as she went along. (what a healthy breakfast right)

The girls found all their eggs in record timing, which actually worked out quite nice because that left plenty of time to go make breakfast before conference started.

Besides the big earthquake we had that day, and Nick having to go into work, it was a pretty awesome day.
