Education Center...

We heard from talking to some of the other hikers around that the education center at Beetle Rock was a fun place to take kids so we decided to go check it out. They have it all set up just for kids to teach them all about nature. The girls had a good time here.

Kaylee started with the build a birds nest challenge. You had to build a birds next just using a pair a tweezers to represent a bird building one with just his beak. She did a pretty good job.
They had a computer area where you could put little slides into a micro scope and then look up what it is on the computer.

The button making station seemed to be a big hit. You could color any nature picture you wanted and then make a button to wear out of it. It was pretty cool.

The girls didn't want to leave without putting on a little puppet show for us. It was pretty entertaining.
