As if finding out that Nick made chief yesterday wasn't good news enough, today his ship decided to pull back in for a couple of weeks. I'm not really sure the reasoning for that because he was supposed to be gone for the long haul, but we are sure happy to see him. I woke the girls up early this morning and we went and picked him up. They were so excited to see him that they didn't even complain about having to get up so early. :) After we got him we went and dropped the big girls off at school. Then we took Brooklyn out to get some breakfast. She just couldn't get enough of her daddy. We aren't sure yet exactly how long he is going to be here, so we are going to just soak up as much time with him as we can.

Popping in for a visit...
Look who stopped in today for a little visit!
