On Monday Nick along with 3 other guys flew out to New York to pick up a new helicopter and fly it back to San Diego. The trip was supposed to take a week because they can only fly so long before they would have to stop. It sounds like they have been having a pretty fun trip. They navy has been putting them each in their own suits in really nice hotels, and seeing different parts of the country. Yesterday their journey hit a little snag. On their way to Oklahoma they stopped in Benttonville Arkansas to get some fuel. When they were starting to take off Nick noticed a lot of smoke coming from the helicopter. (He said it looked like a fire breathing dragon was all around them) So he yelled to the pilots to power down the bird and they all quickly got out. Needless to say they weren't going anywhere else that night. There is a maintenance crew on their way out there to fix it, but they will probably be there a couple more days before finishing their journey back to San Diego.
