Legoland...

Several weeks ago one of the radio stations in town was doing a toy drive and if you brought new toys in to donate they would give you free Legoland tickets, so we couldn't pass up on a deal like that. The tickets had to be used by Christmas day or they would expire so we decided to go on Thursday with some of our friends. (Actually I was the one who decided since the girls didn't even know about this until that morning when we were getting ready to leave) The first thing they insisted on doing as we walked thru the gates was to get their picture taken with the lego snowman before we could go meet up with our friends.

After meeting up with our friends the kids decided that the boat ride was what they wanted to do first. We all broke up into pairs and tried to race around the track. I was with Sierra. We started off strong and even passed Kaylee at one point but then we hit a bit of a snag and ended up being last to finish. It was fun though.

Next the four big kids all went on the horse ride and since the little two were too young to go on it they entertained themselves in other ways.

Lunch time!

After lunch, and another quick pose with more lego characters, it was time to head off for more rides.

The Coastersaurus was a big hit with everyone. This was Brooklyn's first time going on a roller coaster and after it was over she said, "that was so fast...I want to do it again!" Unfortunately the lines were too long to wait in it again.

The next ride the kids wanted to go on had an hour and a half wait so JR kept Brooklyn entertained throwing her up in the air and giving piggy back rides.

They had a few lego tables set up to play with while you wait, that is where the big girls spent most of their time while we were in line.

Brooklyn and Sydney decided to pull out the maps and plan out where we should go next.

After spending almost an hour and a half in line Brooklyn decided to fall asleep the last ten minutes before it was our turn to get on the ride. I woke her up when it was our turn though because she had been waiting so long to for this ride.

On this ride you had to peddle your car along the tracks. Brooklyn's feet were too little to reach the peddles so I ended up doing all the peddling for us.

The last ride of the day the older kids decided that they wanted to drive the cars so they could get their drivers licences (this is what Kaylee had been looking forward to all day). Since the little girls were too little they ran around trying to see what kind of mischief they could get themselves into while they waited. :)

I am so happy that we had the opportunity to do this. Everyone had so much fun. All three girls fell asleep on the drive home which made it nice and peaceful for mommy. :)
